April 28th

We have hit a rough patch in the road and we will look to get out of it tonight. The Angels are one of the better home teams in baseball over the past few years. John Garland has not been outstanding this year but has faced some pretty good offensive teams. Look for him to have a solid start against Oakland tonight.

Angels (-125)

Yesterday's Lock

Another loser.

Season 13-11-1

April 27th

The Royals and the Blue Jays can both put some runs on the board. Gil Meche and Jesse Litsch both have ERA's over 6 on the year. Look for the runs to come across the plate often in this early afternoon game.

Royals/Blue Jays Over 9

Friday's Lock
We could not get any runs in the late innings and took another loss

Season 13-10-1

Friday, April 25, 2008

April 25th

The Mariners and the Athletics are two of the better hitting teams in baseball. Sure neither team hits for too much power but they can still put up runs. Also the teams have two of the worse starting staffs in baseball. Look for the runs to pile up in Seattle tonight.

Over Mariners/Athletics 8.5

Yesterday's Lock

We seem to have hit a little rough patch and the Mets got blown out on the road yesterday.

Season 13-9-1

April 24th

The Nationals are just not a good team. The Mets are on of the best teams in baseball. Oliver Perez is a pretty good lefty and will stifle the Nationals tonight.

Mets (-131)

Was a bad day all around and tallied 2 losses

Season 13-8-1

April 23rd

We have been scoring with Aces on the road all year, tonight there are two so we will play them both.

Roy Halladay is THE BEST pitcher in the American League hands down. The Blue Jays are a much improved team this year as they continue to try to compete with the Yankees and Redsox in the American League east. Halladay will take care of the the Rays tonight in Tampa Bay.

Cole Hammels is one of the best young pitchers in baseball and is the Ace of the Phillies staff. The Phillies have the fire power to hit Dave Bush and will blow away the Brewers tonight. Look for 7 solid innings out of Hammels and a win by the Phillies

Blue Jays (-138) and Phillies (-137)

Yesterday's Lock

Bobby Abreu's grand slam and a decent outing by Chein-Ming Wang scored us another win.

Season 13-6-1

Tuesday, April 22, 2008

April 22nd

Chien-Ming Wang is the best pitcher on the Yankees starting staff. He will continute to pitch well tonight against the Chicago White Sox. With Miguel Tejada revealing he is two years older than who knows how old any of the Domincan people are. Jose Contreas looks 40 and most likely is 40 or older he is beginning to wear down and the Yanks offense will explode against him tonight.

Yankees (-137)

Yesterday's Locks

The offense in atlanta was just enough but the rockies bullpen quit on us late so we split.

Season 12-6-1

April 21st

After missing a day and losing 2 straight locks Ill give you two locks today.

Mark Redman is one of the best pitchers on the Rockies staff. The Rockies bats have been on fire lately and in the thin air of Coors Field that will continue. The Phillies coming off a Sunday night grind out win against the Mets now have to fly across country and play in the thin air of Coors Field, expect them to come out flat.

Rockies (-115)

Tim Hudson has not been very good in his last few starts. The Braves bats especially Chipper Jones have been pretty hot the past few games. Look for lots of runs in Atlanta tonight. Ill take the over.

Over Braves/Nationals 9

Saturday's Lock

Zack Greinke pitched ok but could not make it past 5 innings and the Royals bullpen blew it for us.

Season 11-5-1

Saturday, April 19, 2008

April 19th

Zack Greinke is on the mound again for the Kansas City Royals. We will ride his hot hand again tonight. The A's have been a terrible hitting team all year and they will not start to get healthy against Greinke. The Royals have been playing good baseball all year and expect them to continue again today.

Royals (-107)

Yesterday's Lock

Torii Hunters catch at the wall cost us a win but atleast we still pushed.

Season 11-4-1

Friday, April 18, 2008

April 18th

The Angels and Mariners are both good hitting ball clubs. They also both have pitching staffs that are no performing up to expectations this year. The Mariners pitching staff is in the bottom 5 in ERA in the American league. The warm Los Angeles weather always brings the bats out. We are going with the over in this game looking for big runs.

Over Angels/Mariners 9

Yesterday's Lock

Complete Debacle

Season 11-4

Thursday, April 17, 2008

April 17th

The Detroit Tigers are surging. The Cleveland Indians are fading. Fausto Carmona has not been very impressive so far this year coming off of his surgery. Justin Verlander is due for a good start, he is not as bad as he has been so far this year. The Tigers will roll tonight.

Tigers (+107)

Yesterday's Lock

Felix Hernandez was superb and the Mariners shut down the A's

Season 11-3

Wednesday, April 16, 2008

April 16th

Felix Hernandez is one of the best young pitchers in baseball. He has been having a great year so far. Joe Blanton has struggled so far this year at 1-2 with a 4.15 ERA. The Mariners have better hitters and better defense than the A's. Look for King Felix to reign tonight.

Mariners (-107)

Yesterday's Lock

Andy Pettitte pitched 7 strong innings and the yankees offense did enough to win.

Season 10-3

Tuesday, April 15, 2008

April 15th

Andy Pettite is ready to make a full start. He will finally be out of spring training mode tonight. Look for the yankees offense to get on a roll after the 8 runs last night. Tampa Bay may be an improving young team but they are not quite as good as the yankees yet.

Yankees (-121)

Yesterdays Lock

Our first Lock parlay of the year was a success. Ervin Santana led the angels to a win after a shaky first inning and Zack Greinke pitched a complete game to carry the royals.

Season 9-3

Monday, April 14, 2008

April 14th

Missed two days this weekend so we will come back with a two team lock parlay of the day.

The Angels are good, the Rangers are not. Ervin Santana is one of the better young pitchers in the league and should continue his winning ways against the slumping Texas Rangers. Rangers pitcher Jason Jennings has been pounded twice already this year and sports a 0-2 record and an ERA of 7.45.

Zack Greinke has been the best starter in the American League this year. He has a minuscule 0.60 ERA after shutting down the Yankees to no runs on 6 hits in his last outting. The Mariners pitching staff has struggled for much of the year and the bullpen is light with all-star closer JJ Putz still on the DL. Look for the Royals to steal one on the road tonight.

Angels (-112) and Royals (+103)

Fridays Lock

Jake Peavy carried us to another win as the Padres downed the Dodgers

Season 7-3

Friday, April 11, 2008

April 11

With apologies to all the Mets fans out there we are gonna go with the Best Pitcher in the Major Leagues Tonight. Jake Peavy absolutely destroys the Dodgers. He has won 8 consecutive games against the Dodgers and is 10-1 overall with a 2.21 ERA. Peavy will carry us to a win tonight.

Season 6-3

Thursday, April 10, 2008

April 10th

We have a matchup up of two pitchers who both may be in there 40's. Livan Hernandez and Jose Contreras meet tonight in Chicago. The White Sox have a high powered offense that can put up some runs and the Twins have no problem scoring either as they showed last night.

Over Twins/White Sox 10

Yesterday's Lock

The Tigers broke out of their slump last night and got us back on the winning track

Season 6-3

Wednesday, April 9, 2008

April 9th

I normally dont believe in a team being "due." But if there was ever a team that was due it is the 2008 Detroit Tigers. They have been horrendous so far this year but they have Jermey Bonderman on the mound today and its time to break out of their funk. Jason Lester can be a hit or miss pitcher and were going with miss today.

Tigers +110

Yesterdays Lock

Tough break yesterday as twice the cardinals could not score a run with the bases loaded giving us our first losing streak of the season.

Season 5-3

Tuesday, April 8, 2008

April 8th

Two of the worst pitching staffs in baseball send out two of their most inconsistent pitchers today in Houston. Minute Maid park is a wonderful hitters park and the Cardinals and Astros will be reday to tee off today. The teams combined for 8 runs yesterday all from the 7th inning on. Look for scoring early and often today.

Over Cardinals/Astros 9

Yesterdays Lock

Tom Glavine gave us a hell of a start yesterday, unfortunately the Braves offense and Bullpen gave him no luck and our winning streak ended.

Season 5-2

Monday, April 7, 2008

April 7th

The Rockies are continuing to struggle early in the year. Tom Glavine is still capable of putting up solid numbers. Aaron Cook gave up 4 runs in 6 innings last time out and that was away from Coors Field. The Braves should pile the runs on tonight.

Braves (+113)

Yesterdays Lock

The Reds offense carried us to another win.

Season 5-1

Sunday, April 6, 2008

April 6th

The runs will be plenty in the game in cincinnati today. They scored 12 runs in the opener and 7 runs yesterday with Aaron Harang and Adam Eaton both pitching well. Today Brett Myers is making his second start since being in the bullpen last year, he was shelled his first time out. Edison Volquez is young and has yet to establish himself in the majors.

Phillies / Reds Over 9.5

Yesterdays Lock

The Diamondbacks were all out for us yesterday. Brandon Webb delivered and we won our third straight.

Season 4-1

Saturday, April 5, 2008

April 5th

Plenty of day games today but Ill make you wait till the evening for the lock of the day. Brandon Webb is the second best pitcher in the national league and the diamondbacks are a team that are going to suprise everyone this year. The rockies are off to a slow start and facing Brandon Webb is not the way to turn it around.

Diamondbacks (-112)

Yesterdays Lock

Travis Haffner hit a top of the ninth meaningless home run to get us over and give us our first winning streak of the year at 2.

Season 3-1

Friday, April 4, 2008

April 4th

We will go late into the night tonight for our lock. The athletics are sending out Justin Duchscherer who has only made 5 starts in his career and they came back in 2001 and 2003. Paul Byrd is 37 and coming off a season in which he had a 4.59 ERA. I expect big runs in the game tonight so we will go with the over.

A's / Indians Over 8.5

Yesterdays lock

Ervin Santana pitched well and the angels held on in a scary game against the twins in the metrodome.

Season 2-1

Thursday, April 3, 2008

April 3rd

Angels have been a little sluggish early in the year they are do for an offensive outburst in the hitter friendly metrodome. The twins are sending out 23 Year Old Kevin Slowe making only his 12th career start. Look for the angels too look like an American League front runner today.

Angels (-109)

Yesterday's Lock

The yanks offense let us down as they could not score any runs in the 9th with 1st and 2nd and nobody out.
